Ingredients
- 2 Cups of sugar
- 3/4 Cup of water
- Yams

Preparation
Step 1
Par boil yam with skins on. Test with fork or knife, they need to be soft but with some firmness left. Cool peel skin off. Slice at 1/4" thick.
Syrup
Boil on low at least 20min. dot yams with butter, spoon syrup onto yams. Put some under broiler, not too close till candied.
