  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup 2% milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup salted pork (soak pork in cold water for 30 seconds to a minute to remove some salt, then grind the pork)
  • 2 cups sultana (golden) raisins
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix together eggs, sugar and molasses.

Add milk, butter and baking soda.

Add cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pork, raisins, nuts, flour and baking powder. Mix thoroughly.

Pour into a Bundt pan and bake for about 1-1/2 hours.
