Chunky pecan pie bars 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/2 C. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 C. packed brown sugar
  • Filling:
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 C. corn syrup
  • 3/4 C. sugar
  • 2 T. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 3/4 C. (11.5 oz. pkg.) Toll House Semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 1/2 C. pecans, coarsely chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Oven 350. Grease 13x9 pan.

For crust:
Beat flour, butter & brown sugar in small mixer bowl until crumbly. Press into prepared pan.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.

For filling:
Beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter & vanilla in medium bowl with wire whisk. Stir in chunks & nuts. Pour evenly over baked crust.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

Yield: 3 dozen bars
