Balsamic glaze 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • For glaze
  • 1/3 C. packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 C. balsamic vinegar
  • 1 t. finely chopped garlic
  • 1 t. chopped fresh rosemary leaves (I don't like too much rosemary on my chicken so I use 1t. of McCormick Italian herb grinder instead. Use any herb you like.)
  • For meat
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, mix glaze ingredients; set aside.

Sprinkle your choice of meat with salt and pepper. Place on grill, skin side down, over medium heat. Cook 10 minutes. Turn; brush half the glaze evenly over meat. Continue cooking and brushing with remaining glaze 10 to 12 minutes longer or until meat is done.

I have also done this in a pan on the stove. Works just as well!!!
