  • 2 tsp minced shallot
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 ⁄2 tsp salt
  • 1 ⁄4 tsp black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp finely chopped chives
  • 1 lb Napa cabbage, cored and thinly sliced crosswise (about 4 cups)
  • 6 radishes, diced
  • 2 celery ribs, thinly sliced diagonally
