Apple Pie Liquer

An Ever-clear concoction that tastes like Apple Pie. Great over vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

• 1 Gallon Apple Cider
• 16 Cups Sugar
• 2 1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
• 1/2 Tsp. Allspice
• 1/4 Tsp. Nutmeg
• 1/2 TBS. Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix all of the ingredients above in a pan and heat – DO NOT BOIL AND DO NOT SIMMER, just heat to dissolve sugar and mix well. Cool completely.

2. Then get together bottles and put one cinnamon stick in each bottle. Makes about 1 ½ gallons.

3. Add 1 Fifth (3¼ C or 750ml.) of Everclear into the pan of cooled cider mixture. Mix well. Pour into bottles. Cork. Age 4-6 mo.
