Big Spicy Meatballs 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 slice soft bead, torn
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/8 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3/4 cup ricotta cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven 400 degrees.
Combine first 10 ingredients, ½ cup Parmesan and 1 tsp pepper.
Mix just to combine.
Shape into large balls.
Place on baking pan and set aside.
Mix ricotta and remaining Parmesan & pepper. Set aside.
Bake meatballs for 25 minutes. Remove
Spoon 1 tbsp. ricotta mixture onto each meatball.
Broil 3 to 5 minutes.
Serve with marinara sauce.
Great with wild rice.
