Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup Minced Onion
- 1 1/2 Cup Chopped Celery (Stalks and Leaves)
- 1 Cup Butter or Oleo
- 9 Cups Fresh Bread Cubes
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Crushed Sage Leaves
- 1 tsp Crushed Thyme Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In large skillet cook and stir Onion and Celery in Butter until Onion is tender.
Stir in 1/3 Bread Cubes.
Turn into deep bowl. Add remaining ingredients, toss lightly.
Variations:
Oyster Stuffing - Decrease Bread Cubes to 8 Cups. Drain 2 Cans (8oz each) Oyster. Chop Oysters and add.
Midwest Corn Stuffing - Decrease Bread Cubes to 8 Cups. Add 12 oz can of Corn, 1/2 Cup Copped Green Pepper
Far West Apple Stuffing - Decrease Bread Cubes to 7 Cups, increase Salt to 1 Tbsp. Add 3 Cups finely Chopped Apples, 3/4 Cup of Raisins.
