Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (40z.) dried beef
- 4 whole chicken breasts, boned and halved
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sauteed

Preparation
Step 1
On 2 to 3 slices of dried beef, place one-half chicken breast. Wrap chicken and beef with one bacon slice. Secure bacon with a toothpick, if necessary. Place breast in a greased 13 X 9 casserole, seam side down. Repeat for the remaining seven breasts. Bake, uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes. In a small bowl, combine soup, sour cream and mushrooms. Mix well. Pour this mixture over chicken and continue baking for 30 minutes. Serve with wild rice and a spinach salad.
