Almond Milk/Creamer - Homemade

By

Ok Made this, this morning in a thicker format for Creamer (I was using store bought almond milk in my coffee so thought I would give this a try)
I used 1/2 Cup soaked Almonds to 1 Cup water since shelf life is 4-5 days did not want to have waste since I'm not drinking coffee everyday, it is creamy and delicious and slightly sweet (naturally)

Preparation

Step 1

Soak almonds overnight.
Add almonds & water to a blender, and blend on high until completely smooth (They use a Vitamix).

Strain blended mixture with a Nut milk bag (Amazon sells these) (or cheesecloth) into a bowl or jar.

Option 1: Strain by squeezing the mixture in the nut milk bag by hand until there is no more liquid left, just almond fiber.

Option 2: Let your nut milk bag hang over a bowl somewhere in the kitchen for a few hours. Strain whats left by squeezing until there's no more liquid left, just fiber. I like this option because it takes less time and
produces less foam.

Notes:
You can add the strained milk back to the blender and add flavoring like vanilla, medjool dates or maple syrup. They like to leave this until they are actually using the milk, because sometimes it gets used to make things like vegan cheese or in other savory recipes.
