Ingredients
- Cranberry Cake:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups whole cranberries

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in vanilla and cranberries.
Spread in well greased 9" square pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with hot butter sauce

Hot Butter Sauce:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup half and half
2 tsp vanilla
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir frequently.
