Ingredients
- 1 cup evaporated milk (split in half)
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 50 caramels
- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Preparation
Step 1
Melt 1/2 cup evaporated milk with caramels until smooth; set aside. Stir cake mix, remaining milk, nuts and butter (to make dough). Press half of dough into 13 x 9 x 2 inch greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked dough. Top with caramel mixture. Spread remaining dough over top of caramel.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
