Chocolate Butter Frosting
Nothing healthy about this, but it sure is good on a cake. This is more than enough for a 9 x 13 inch cake. You could get by with cutting the recipe in half.
- 1/3 cup butter
- 4 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla ( Using Schilling and McCormick "real" vanilla, not imitation, if you need Gluten Free vanilla)
In mixing bowl, beat butter till fluffy.
Gradually add 2cups powdered sugar, beating well.
Slowly beat in the 1/4 cup milk and vanilla. Then slowly add the rest of the powdered sugar.
