Ingredients

  • 8 c Quaker Oatmeal Squares
  • 3 c pecan halves
  • 1/2 c Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsb baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Spray 9x13 pan with Pam. Preheat oven to 250°. In a *big* bowl, mix cereal and pecans. Set aside. Mix karo, brown sugar and butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 1.5 minutes. Add vanilla and baking soda. Mix well. Pour over cereal. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Pour onto cookie sheet lined with foil and cool. Break apart and store in ziploc bag.
