Ingredients

  • Then, in a separate bowl, mix:
  • 3 250 g. packages liverwurst sausage (I like the Schneider's fine liverwurst sausage, although Maple Leaf is good, too. I've also used the pkg. with herbs and the one with bacon
  • and they're good, too.) (It's not usually with the cold meats, I usually find it with the specialty
  • cheeses, etc.)
  • 8 -8 oz. cream cheese
  • 12 -12 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 -1 cup cream
  • Let these four ingredients come to room temperature and then mix them together
  • 3 -3 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 -1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
  • 3 -3 tbsp. worchestershire sauce
  • 3 -3 tbsp. dry sherry --- if desired (I always use red wine.) :)
  • 3/4 -3/4 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 3 -3 tiny pinches cayenne pepper
  • 3 -3 tiny pinches grated nutmeg

Step 1

Add the second group of ingredients to the first group and mix.

Put in containers and freeze. (I find that the 250 gram cream cheese containers, or others of similar size, work well.)
