Great weeknight meal. I let the pork chops marinate all day. They were delicious. It was a very quick meal to fix. My picky husband even loved them.
if you don't like cilantro (and as far as i know, there are 2 camps out there: those that LOVE cilantro & those that HATE cilantro), and you're not completely lacking a brain, you can easily make this recipe without it. it's a quick & easy meal, and it's different from the chicken or red meat dinner we all tend to fall back on. and, indeed if you do not like cilantro, and can't figure out that you just remove this ingredient from the recipe, you should pass by this recipe and look for one that does not contain cilantro. just an idea. I, however, happen to LOVE cilantro and, therefore, added more.
This dish is terrible if you don't like cilantro. I don't, but thought it looked good, and gave it a try. Yikes..the cilantro was extremely potent, and I didn't really see the point of the rice vinegar.
