Ingredients

  • 1 lb of haddock
  • 1 lb chopped clams
  • 1 lb of maine shrimp
  • 5 lbs of scallop0s
  • 3 cups of seafood stock
  • 6 oz of bacon
  • 6 potatoes diced
  • 2 onions diced
  • 2 cups of corn
  • 4 1/2 cups of 1/2 and 1/2
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • 3 tbsp. of butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

in a large pot over medium heat brown the bacon, add butter, onions and cook for 10 minuites
add flour, combine well. Add seafood stock, potatoes, salt and cook till fork tender.
add thawed chopped clams, haddock, shrimp, scallops and corn simmer for 10 - 15 minuites.
add 1/2 and 1/2 and heat through until desired temperature DO NOT BOIL, CHOWDER WILL CURDLE.
