Ingredients

  • 2

    Cups Milk

  • 1

    Pkg Dry Yeast

  • ½

    Cup Warm Water (110 degrees)

  • Cup Butter (melted)

  • 1

    tsp Salt

  • 1

    tsp Sugar

  • 3

    Cups Flour

  • 2

    Large Eggs (beaten)

  • ½

    tsp Baking Soda

Directions

Heat the milk to boiling, then turn it off. Let it cool to lukewarm. Sprinkle the yeast on the warm water and stir to dissolve. Add the milk, butter, salt, sugar & flour to the yeast mixture. Mix very well with an electric mixer until it is smooth.. Cover and let it stand at room temperature overnight. It rises very big) When ready to bake the waffles, add the eggs and Baking Soda and mix well. Bake on a pre-heated waffle iron.
