  • Standing Rib Roast - completely thawed and at room temperature for at least one hour
  • Garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Onion powder



Step 1

Rub roast with seasonings. Place on a rack in a roasting pan with fat side up. Roast uncovered at 200 degrees for 1 hour per pound for rare, 225 degrees for 1 hour per pound for medium rare.. Roast can be reheated at 200 or 225 degrees for 1 hour and remain at desired doneness. If you want the outside brown and crisp run the roast under the broiler a few minutes. Cover with aluminum foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
