1 box of angel food cake mix
1 carton fresh strawberries
1 large carton of cool whip

Step 1

Make an angel food cake according to box instructions. (Using a traditional angel food cake pan) Meanwhile wash and de-stem a carton of fresh strawberries. Let set in a bowl with some sugar sprinkled on top. When cake is cooled, take cake out of pan and using an electric knife cut horizontally one inch from top. Take top off and set aside. Make a river around the center of the cake. Mix a cup of cool whip with the strawberries and pour in the river. Place the top of the cake back on and frost the cake with the remaining of the cool whip.
