Ingredients

  • 6 lbs of Roma Tomatoes
  • 3 Onions, chopped
  • 1 Hot Pepper of Choice, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup White Vinegar
  • 1 package of Mrs. Wages Salsa Mix

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and core tomatoes. Cut in half, place in large pan. Chop onions and pepper place in pan with tomatoes. Add vinegar and Salsa Mixture.

Stir together and warm. Skim the foam off the top of tomatoes. Cook simmering until the thickness you prefer.

Put in Pint Jars.
1. Pressure can or water bath. Pressure 10 pounds of pressure for 20-25 minutes. Water bath 40 minutes.

OR

2. Heat jars and lids with boiling water. Fill jars and turn upside down for 5 minutes then turn right side up and leave alone.
