- ● 3 tbsp butter/margarine
- ● 2 tbsp brown sugar
- ● 2 lbs fresh asparagus, cut into 2 inch pieces (about 4 cups)
- ● 1 cup chicken broth

Step 1
1. In skillet over medium-high, heat butter and brown sugar til sugar is dissolved.
2. Add asparagus, saute for 2 mi.
3. Stir in chicken broth; bring to boil.
4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 min or til asparagus is crisp-tender.
5. Remove asparagus to serving dish and keep warm.
6. Cook sauce, uncovered, until reduced by half.
7. Pour over asparagus and serve immediately.
