Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter (1 stick) softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon maple flavor
  • 3 oz. pecans finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup confectioners sugar

Step 1

In medium bowl with hand mix flour, margarine or butter, sugar vanilla, maple flavor and chopped pecans until well blended.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Shape level tablespoon of dough into 3" logs. Place logs about 1-1/2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake cookies 25-30 minutes, until lightly browned. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool slightly. Place confectioners sugar on waxed paper. Roll cookies in confectioners sugar to coat.
