Ingredients
- 1/2 c flour
- 3 c cold water

Step 1
Slowly whisk flour into water until it is slightly less thick than a malt, getting rid of all lumps.
Add 1 quart of water or chicken stock to drippings and bring to a rolling boil. Pour flour mixture in gradually using a wire whisk to thicken. Turn down heat to simmer after 1 minute.
