- 3 types of noodles (twists, shells, etc.)
- 1 large jar of spaghetti sauce
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- mozarella cheese
- small jar sliced mushrooms
- medium onion
- medium bell pepper
- garlic salt
Cook pasta according to package directions, rinse and drain.
Warm spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, and pepperoni in pot on low heat.
Cut onion and bell pepper into small pieces. Brown ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in frying pan. Add salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste. When all are browned, add to spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, and pepperoni.
Spray casserole dish with Pam. Add noodles to sauce and stir together; then put into casserole dish .
Cover top with mozarella cheese. Bake at 350°F till cheese is melted and cavatini is heated throughout.
Can be prepared beforehand and baked when ready to serve.
