Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 med. Sweet potatoes, peeled
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups cold water
  • butter or margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Slice potatoes about ¼ inch thick; cover with cold water and cook until tender but not quite done; drain. Transfer potatoes to casserole dish. Combine sugar and flour; add 2 cups cold water. Pour mixture over potatoes; dot with butter or margarine. Cook at 375°F for 30 minutes or until liquid is thick.
