Spritz Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter flavored shortening
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2/14 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• food coloring if desired

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Add food coloring if desired. Mix dry ingredients together and blend into creamed mixture. Fill cooie press and form cookies on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.
