- 4 tart baking apples, peeled and cored
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 sheet Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 c. milk

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice three of the apples; shred the fourth. Place apples in a large bowl; stir in brown sugar and raisins, then set aside. Place sheet of pastry on a baking sheet and roll (lightly) with a rolling pin. Arrange apple filing down the middle of the pastry—lengthwise. Fold the pastry (again lengthwise) around the filling; seal the edges together with moistened fingertips. Whisk egg and milk and brush on top of the pastry. OPTIONAL: sprinkle sliced almonds on top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
