- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 pear, peeled, cored, thinly sliced

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8" square pan and dust with flour. Mix eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, orange juice, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Blend into egg mixture. Pour into prepared pan. Topping : combine brown sugar, 1 Tablespoon flour, and 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle over cake batter in pan, and arrange pear slices on top. Bake 30 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
