Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® chocolate chip cookie mix
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 container (1 lb) coconut pecan frosting

Preparation

Step 1

1 Heat oven to 375°. In medium bowl, stir together butter and egg. Stir in cookie mix, cocoa and water until soft dough forms.

2 Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.

3 Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until cookies are set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.

4 Generously frost cookies with coconut pecan frosting.

To help with mixing the softened butter and egg, try cutting butter into small pieces.
