- 1 c oatmeal (1 1/2)
- 2 t salt (3)
- 1 egg (2)
- 1/2 c honey (3/4)
- 4 t melt shortening (6)
- 2 yeast cakes (3) in 1/2 c warm water (3/4)
- 5 c flour (7 1/2)

Step 1
Add oatmeal tohot milk, let stand 2 hours add rest ingred. 5 or more cups of flour (7 1/2). Let raise once and punch down put in pan let raise again. Bake 1 hr (45-50 min) 450*
