Niemann Marcus Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 C butter
• 4 C flour
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 2 C sugar
• 2 C brown sugar
• 5 C oatmeal
• 24 oz chocolate chips
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 8 oz Hershey bar, grated
• 4 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 3 C nuts, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Pulse oatmeal in blender until powder. Cream butter and sugars.

Add eggs and vanilla.

Mix with flour, oatmeal, salt, soda, and powders

Add chips, Hershey bar and nuts.

Roll into bars and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Yields 112 cookies.

Note: Recipe may be halved
