Ingredients
- White cake mix
- 3 egg whites
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 1 1/3 c buttermilk
- yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 T cocoa
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 2 T red food coloring

Preparation
Step 1
Beat first 4 ingredients according to pkg directions. Beat yellow cake mix & next 6 ingredients according to pkg Spoon red batter alternately with white batter into 3 geased & floured pans. Swirl batter with knife. Bake at 350 deg. 22-25 mins. Cool in pans 10 mins. Spread peppermint cream cheese frosting between layers and on top and sides of cake. Serve within 2 hours. Chill up to 2 days.
