Dan's Brownies

Ingredients

• 1 bag Ghiradelli chocolate chips, divided in half
• 0.5 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
• 3 eggs
• 1.25 cups flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 0.25 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 0.5 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt half of chocolate chips over a double boiler or in microwave.
2. Mix melted chocolate together with all other ingredients in bowl. Add remaining chocolate chips and nuts.
3. Pour into greased and floured 9" square pan.
4. Bake at 350F for 18-20 minutes.
