Bisquick Applesauce Loaf Cake

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup applesauce
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1 cup raisins

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees; grease and flour 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

Beat all ingredients except raisins in large mixer bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, 30 seconds. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 2 minutes. Stir in raisins.

Pour batter into pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 35 minutes. Cool slightly. Remove from pan. Cool completely before slicing.
