Preparation

Step 1

Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain and return to pot.

Stir in butter and remaining ingredients.
Serve immediately.

Notes:
Substitute an 8-ounce package of thin spaghetti for the egg noodles, and add chopped cooked ham and steamed broccoli. Saute the ham in a lightly greased skillet over medium-high heat to crisp it up and give it a smoky bacon-like flavor.

REVIEWS:

Unfortunately, this was not my family's favorite. Not mine either. We ate it, but I won't be making it again. I'm not quite sure what it was--maybe the warm Ranch-dressing tangyness that turned us off? I'm sure that some folks would love it; it just wasn't our personal taste. One last note: I don't like to be contradictory, but this definitely does not taste like Alfredo sauce, as one other reviewer stated. There are some great, simple Alfredo recipes out there, but this is not meant to be one of them.

My kids love this!! Very easy, usually have all ingredients on hand. We add all sorts of leftovers to the noodles to either make it a main dish or a veggie filled side dish.

Very simple and tasty. I made it as is.

Awesome and different, this is a great side dish when you get tired of potatoes. It's rich, and it's good!

I made these noodles tonight to go along with some baked chicken. They were pretty good. I didn't measure anything out...just eye balled it. I thought it tasted similar to fettucini alfredo. I thought it needed something. Maybe some crushed red pepper and garlic. It would pair well with alot of dishes really. Pretty good and very easy!!
