Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, mix together all ingredients except chicken. Add chicken breast, cover, and marinate for up to 1/2 hour in refrigerator.
When ready to cook, heat oven to broil, remove chicken to broiler pan, discarding excess marinade. Broil chicken for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until chicken is fork tender and no pink remains.
