  • 5 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 (1-pound) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1 cup thinly sliced pepperoni (about 5 1/4 ounces)
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese

Step 1

1Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
.2Combine the butter, parsley, oregano and seasoned salt in a small bowl and mix well. Roll the bread dough into a 15 x 10-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
.3Spread 3 tablespoons of butter mixture over rolled dough. Arrange pepperoni evenly over butter mixture. Sprinkle with provolone.
.4Roll up rectangle, jelly roll fashion, starting at one long side. Pinch seam and ends to seal. Place roll, seam side down, on a baking sheet.
.5Brush dough with one-half of the remaining butter mixture. Bake until browned, about 30 minutes. Brush with remaining butter mixture. Let stand to cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
