  • 2 1/2 cups apple juice
  • 4 Golden Delicious apples, unpeeled and cut into wedges
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet, over medium-high heat combine apple juice and apples and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until fork tender, stirring occasionally. Remove apples from skillet to large bowl, leaving liquid in pan.

In small bowl combine remaining ingredients. Whisk dry mixture into juice in skillet, cook on medium heat until mixture has thickened. Add apples back to skillet and stir until evenly coated.
