Ingredients

  • 6 T butter
  • 6 T flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 3 stalks celery-chopped
  • 4 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 can tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 3 T minced onion
  • 2 cups lobster meat (cooked/shredded)
  • 2 cups crab meat (cooked/shredded)
  • 1 T paprika
  • 1/2 cup light cream
  • 3 ears corn
  • 1/2 cup wine

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and celery until well blended. Gradually stir in the milk so that no lumps form, and then stir in chicken stock. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until soup begins to thicken. Add onion, corn, lobster, crab. Season with red pepper, add tomato paste. Cook and stir for 10 more minutes. Stir in cream and white wine, heat through and serve.

Can freeze.

Serve with crusty bread, salad, and a wonderful bottle of wine. Prepare to be dazzled!!
