Ingredients
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 c milk
- 2/3 c crushed saltine crackers (about 18)
- 1/3 c finely chopped onion (1 small)
- 1/2 t celery salt
- 1/2 t ground nutmeg
- 1/2 t black pepper
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 10.75-oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 c milk
- Egg noodles

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 3-qt rectangular baking dish; set aside.
In a large bowl combine eggs and the 1/2 c milk. Stir in crackers, onion, celery salt, 1/4 t nutmeg and the pepper. Add ground beef; mix well. Shape meat mixture into 20 meatballs. Arrange meatballs in a prepared baking dish. Bake 30 mins or until meatballs are done (160 degrees).
For sauce, in a med saucepan combine soup, 3/4 c milk and remaining nutmeg. Cook and stir over med heat until heated through.
Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. To serve, transfer meatballs to a serving bowl. Spoon sauce over meatballs and serve with egg noodles.
