Ingredients

  • 10 ounces ziti1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 4 egg whites1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions, with tops
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Step 1

1Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray 9-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
.2Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt; drain. Place in bottom of prepared baking pan.
.3Meanwhile, combine evaporated milk, whole milk, egg whites, mustard and salt in a food processor or blender; process until very smooth.
.4Sprinkle green onions over pasta. Pour egg white mixture over green onions. Sprinkle with black pepper and top with provolone cheese.
.5Bake until heated through, about 35 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Let stand about 5 minutes before serving.
