Ingredients
- 4 oz. butter
- 1 Tablespoon oil
- 3 Tablespoons water
- 1 Tablespoon sugar (for savory crust leave out sugar)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups flour (appox)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In Pyrex bowl heat butter,water,sugar, oil and salt until boiling point. 1 1/2 minute. Remove from oven and add flour quickly until a ball is formed (add a little at a time after 1 cup) by hand. Spread with hands or spoon into your tarte pan or pie plate. Prick sides and bottom with fork and bake for 10-15 minutes until light brown. It is now ready for filling.
