Ingredients

  • 1 Cup margarine or butter
  • 3/4 Cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cups Oatmeal
  • 1/2 Cup sliced almonds, toasted

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream margarine, sugars and extracts until light and fluffy. Sift in flour, salt and cinnamon. In a saucepan or microwave heat Silk until hot, add baking soda and stir to dissolve. Add to flour mixture. Stir in Oatmeal. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet and gently press toasted almonds into each cookie. Bake for 12 minutes.
