  • 10 lemons
  • 1 liter vodka
  • 3 c sugar
  • 4 c water

Step 1

Zest the lemons, and place zest into a large glass bottle. Pour in vodka. Cover loosely and let infuse for 1 week at room temp. After 1 week, combine sugar & water in saucepan. Bring to boil. DO NOT STIR. Boil for 15 mins. Allow syrup to cool to room temp. Stir vodka mix into syrup. Strain into glass bottles & seal with a cork. Let mix age 2 weeks at room temp. Place liqueur into freezer. When icy cold, serve in chilled vodka or shot glasses.
