  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 4 limes
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Step 1

Combine the butter and graham cracker crumbs in a large bowl. Mix until well-blended. Press the crumbs into the bottom and side of an 8-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.


Finely grate the zest from three of the limes. Slicethe remaining lime intothin slices and set aside. Pour 1 cup heavy creaminto a medium bowl. Add the lime zest and condensed milk. Halve the three zested limes and squeeze thelime juice directly into thecream mixture. Whisk until thickened.


Spread the cream mixture in the crumb crust and chill for 30 minutes.


Meanwhile, place the remaining heavy cream in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer set on medium speed until soft peaks form. Spoon large dollops around the edge of the filling. Cut the reserved lime slices in half and garnish the top of the pie. Serve immediately.
