Yummy Vanilla Icing for your Cupcakes

You can buy vanilla icing in a can, but it just doesn't taste as good as the real thing. It is very simple to make a yummy vanilla icing for all your cake needs. I like to use a basic vanilla icing because you can change it in so many ways. And it's delicious right out of the bowl too.

Tint it with food coloring, or decorate the top by adding sprinkles or other decorations. Or just sprinkle some cinnamon or nutmeg on top for a dressy topping. Enjoy!

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup butter at room temperature
• 8 cups confectioners’ sugar; sifted
• 1/2 cup warm milk
• 1 pinch of salt
• 2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
