Peanut Butter Blossoms

Ingredients

• Cream:
• 1 3/4 c. flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• -add this to cream gradually
• 1/2 c. shortening
• 1/2 c. peanut butter
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 tsp. milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Bag hershey kisses

Preparation

Step 1

1. Shape dough into balls and roll into sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
2. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 min. Remove from oven and place a hershey kiss on top of each cookie. Press down so that the cookie cracks around the edge. Return to oven for 2-5 minutes.

Makes 3 doz.
