  • 8 extra large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 whole rind of a lemon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl beat eggs, sugar and oil until well combined. Add flour, baking powder and lemon rind to the wet mixture and mix until well combined.

Pour into a lightly greased angelfood cake pan. Bake for 1 hour in the middle of the oven.
