Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 2 eggs beaten
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 cup crunchy Peanut Butter
• 3 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugars and shortening gradually then add beaten egg and peanut butter. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together. Add slowly to sugar, egg and peanut butter mixture. Mix well and shape into small balls and flatten with fork (use water to dip fork in if needed) Put on greased cookie sheet and bake at 300 to 350 degrees until done.
